Kamworks is a leading solar energy company in Cambodia. Established in 2006 by Dutch solar engineers. It has been pioneering in the design and installation of solar rooftop systems and has the longest track record of grid connected solar projects in Cambodia. Currently we are seeking an experienced Senior Technician to manage our Technician team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of a solar project and will also manage and lead technicians’ team by minimizing risk and maximizing performance. The Senior Technician will report directly to Site Manager.
- Position : Senior Technician (Khmer)
- Office location : Phnom Penh
- Working day: Mon – Fri – Rank Salary : $300 – $500
- Report to : Site Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordination of solar system installation and repairs
- Prepare and execute training for the technicians
- Recruiting new technicians and manage their complains, demands or other issues, and transfer to Site Manager
- Supervises coordinates activities of workers engaged in installation, maintenance, and repair of solar systems
- Examines premises, plans and specifications to define work procedures, estimate costs and requisition needed materials equipment
- Assist Site Manager on labour requirement needs
- Assigns duties to workers requisitions materials, tools, and supplies
- Inspects assembled, installed or repaired equipment
- Reviews work orders, trouble reports, and time and equipment records for completeness accuracy
- Prepares daily operating reports summarizing labour, materials, and equipment charges for work performed
- Performs other duties assigned by Site Manager
Requirements:
Kamworks is looking for professional with the following background:
- ● Bachelor degree of electrical engineer/electronic or equivalent
- Have more than 3 years’ work experience with minimum 2 years on-site management experience
- Excellent organizational coordination, communication skills, problem solving ability and execution ability.
- Strong learning and independent analysis skills, work responsibility, good communication skills, teamwork spirit, and stress resistance.
- Good command of spoken and written in English
- Familiar with safety protocols and procedures
- Flexibility to travel to project sites in various locations whenever necessary
- Have driving license in Cambodia if prefer
